On The Move

I would like to extend my thanks to our staff who were involved in the recent move of some of our services to the new Harley Gray Building. Our Operating Theatres, Theatre Admission and Discharge Unit, Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, Central Sterile Supply Department and Neonatal Care are now operating out of this state-of-the-art facility, after a successful move which was several years in the planning. The transition required massive man power, brain power and muscle power to make it happen smoothly and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it such a resounding success. I was also extremely proud to note that we maintained our usual high standards of care, professionalism and safety throughout this transition, particularly for the relocation of 15 prematurely born babies – some of our most vulnerable patients. On behalf of our patients, thank you for your efforts, your flexibility and your hard work.
